Internet Safety
 When you go to the amusement park you can
have all kinds of fun, but you have to keep your eyes peeled and pay attention or you can
get lost or hurt. That is just like the Internet - lots of fun, but you have to be careful.
To help you out as you "surf" the World Wide Web, here are some Safety Tips

engines to find fun, new places to visit |

to creators of web pages and tell them what you like. |
| Chat with
people on-line with your parents supervision. |
| Get e-mail
addresses of relatives and friends your go to church, synagogue
and school with. |
| Ask your
parents to "surf" with you! It can be a lot of fun and educational for the whole
family! |
DON'T...
| Chat with or visit
any place that your parents don't first approve of. Not even once! |
| Give your postal
or street address, phone number, or a credit card number to
anyone. |
| Continue to chat
when the conversation becomes embarrassing, rude, or dirty. |
| Exchange e-mail
addresses with people you don't know too well. People you meet in
"chat rooms" may seem friendly, but they may be mean later. |
